Company Briefs:

  • Successful treatment of 1,4-dioxane was demonstrated in recent laboratory studies using ISOTEC's modified Fenton's reagent.

  • In-situ remediation was completed at the Greenville MGP Site in record time to facilitate construction of condominiums.

  • Multiple ISCO technologies were utilized in Fort Lee, Virginia to achieve successful treatment of carbon tetrachloride and TCE. The ISCO technologies utilized include modified Fenton's reagent, activated sodium persulfate and sodium permanganate.

  • The Nyack MGP site was given the "2007 Award of Merit" by New York Construction Magazine.  The site was featured in the December 2007 issue of the New York Construction Magazine.  ISCO was implemented using modified Fenton's reagent with over 87,000 gallons of reagent injected into fractured bedrock.

  • ISOTEC and Mourik Groot-Ammers, B.V., Holland have signed a strategic partnership agreement for in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) marketing and implementation in the European Union countries.

  • ISOTEC co-sponsored Battelle's Sixth International Conference on Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds held on May 19-22, 2008 in Monterey, California.
