In-Situ Oxidative Technologies, Inc. (ISOTECSM) is a full service environmental remediation firm pioneering in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) techniques including our patented Modified Fenton’s Reagent, Permanganate and Activated Persulfate A wide range of contaminants in soils and groundwater can be treated effectively in a short time frame using the ISOTEC treatment approach.

A few example contaminants that are amenable to the ISOTEC treatment approach are provided below.

ISOTEC also specializes in combined or sequential application of Fenton's, persulfate, or permanganate to achieve optimal treatment results.  Whether it is soil or groundwater remediation, bedrock or vadose zone treatment, ISOTEC has a solution for your remedial needs.

Company Briefs:

  • Successful treatment of 1,4-dioxane was demonstrated in recent laboratory studies using ISOTEC's modified Fenton's reagent.

  • The Nyack MGP site was given the "2007 Award of Merit" by New York Construction Magazine.  The site was featured in the December 2007 issue of the New York Construction Magazine.  ISCO was implemented using modified Fenton's reagent with over 87,000 gallons of reagent injected into fractured bedrock.

  • Phase I modified Fenton's treatment program was successfully completed at the Macon MGP site with majority of monitoring locations meeting the performance criteria.  Phase II treatment program is scheduled to begin in Fall 2008.

  • ISOTEC co-sponsored The Fourth European Conference on Oxidation and Reduction Technologies for In-Situ Treatment of Soil and and Groundwater (Amsterdam, October 16-18, 2007) and The Fifth International Conference on Oxidation and Reduction Technologies for In-Situ Treatment of Soil and Groundwater (September 24-27, 2007; Niagara Falls, NY).

  • ISOTEC and Mourik Groot-Ammers, B.V., Holland have signed a strategic partnership agreement for in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) marketing and implementation in the European Union countries.

  • ISOTEC co-sponsored Battelle's Sixth International Conference on Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds held on May 19-22, 2008 in Monterey, California.

  • SheGoTec Japan and ISOTEC have signed a strategic partnership agreement to offer ISOTEC's services in Japan.

  • Last round of injection activities were successfully completed at the ACS Superfund Site in Indiana in April 2006. Results to date have indicated over 90% contaminant mass removal.  ISOTEC injected a total of 545,000 gallons of modified Fenton's reagent into a total of 1211 temporary injection points. Total contract amount was approximately $1.25 million.
